About the Role
As a Senior Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing piling equipment at Keller’s Workshops. Reporting to the Lead Fitter/Workshop Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring plant and equipment operate safely and efficiently to meet project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on piling equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical system faults
• Conduct inspections, load testing, and calibrations to enhance equipment performance
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Plan and prioritise maintenance activities to minimise downtime
• Act as the first point of contact for equipment and parts requests, coordinating with internal teams
• Foster strong relationships with colleagues, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
About You
• Trade qualified fitter (Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering)
• Any relevant high risk work tickets
• Proven experience working with ground improvement and piling equipment
• Strong understanding of geotechnical and foundation systems
• Proficiency in reading schematics and OEM manuals
• Expertise in fault finding on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Experience in rigging and de-rigging of heavy machinery
• Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
